Christmas Day is a famous festival in western countries, such as England, America, France, Germany, and so on. On Christmas Eve, they will get together with their family and celebrate the happiest moment.

Don’t hurt kids because of love

I was born in the south of China, which has a lot of rivers and lakes. There were so many opportunities to learn swimming, but I really didn’t know how to swim at all. However, I haven't been afraid of water since I was a child.

After I went to college, there was a swimming lesson each week. But a drowning accident broke the plan, and then the swimming class was canceled. I still didn’t know how to swim after I graduated.

对于知识仅限于知道是远远不够的，还需要用行动来验证，只有实践运用后才能算是真正学会了。

子曰：「学而不思则罔，思而不学则殆」。

只学习不思考就只是感动了自己，而只思考不学习就会被人笑话「想的太多，读书太少」。

The Snow Poem and the Author's Story

Once upon a time, there was a princess 1 who couldn't cry, and she always kept laughing. The king and the queen were very worried about their daughter. It's all right if she just keeps feeling happy, but it'll be a problem if she always keeps laughing at others.

They found an animal fairy 2 to get an idea of how to save the princess. The queer3 fairy said, "If you can make the princess cry once, then she'll be normal," so the king made a promise that if anyone could make the princess cry without hurting her, then the one would get a bag of gold as a reward4.

最近一段时间在学习英语，找到了感觉，同时也感叹以前上学的时候真的学的是“哑巴英语”；内心极度排斥，却又要硬着头皮去学、去猜，过程十分痛苦。也一度鼓足勇气对英语产生兴趣，却又很快偃旗息鼓，关键还是不得法。

想起自己是初一开始学的英语，那时候也热情高涨，见人互相叫“how do you do”，但既忽略了发音，也没关心语法，就是死记硬背几个单词，一切都是书面上的知识，离自己的生活太远。
